++STARTS WITH CLOSE OF SAAR++
"I do have very high confidence that both of the countries, the United States of America and the state of Israel are ready for a diplomatic solution. You see that I'm here as the first European politician and at yesterday night, (I had a ) telephone call with our common colleague, Marco Rubio (US Secretary of State), so I'm, I would say, well informed about what these two countries are right now doing, what their goals are, where they are and what is possible."

5. SOUNDBITE (English) Johann Wadephul, Germany's Minister for Foreign Affairs:

9. SOUNDBITE (English) Gideon Saar, Israeli Foreign Minister:
"Chancellor (Friedrich) Merz was right when he said that Israel is doing the dirty work for all of us. The international community enjoys the results of our actions, yet it's not always supportive, to say the least, while we are acting."

"We want to remove for the long term existential threats from Iran to Israel. It is hard to see it with the current regime, with the new Khamenei. The new Khamenei is not less extremist than the previous. We said, regime change can take place not necessarily during the campaign. It can happen also after the campaign, but it's important to create the conditions for a change in Iran."

13. SOUNDBITE (English) Gideon Saar, Israeli Foreign Minister:
"I saw yesterday because you asked if you would asked only about Israel, I might answer in a different way, but you ask about Israel and the US, so I followed yesterday's announcements and press conference of President Trump. He said that the war will not end this week. Please speak with me about it next week."

15. SOUNDBITE (English) Gideon Saar, Israeli Foreign Minister:
