Balance pad exercises are a great place to start when recovering from an injury, surgery or looking to build stability to help reduce the risk of a fall.
Dr. Michael White shows us how to perform the Side Stepping exercise using the Vive Balance Pad. These lateral movements aim to engage the core muscles, along with those in your feet, ankles, and legs.
1. Start with the pad on the ground.
2. Take a lateral step onto the pad, and follow with the opposite leg.
3. Take another lateral step off the pad, and follow with the opposite leg.
Repeat 3 sets of 10.
