Описание: The spring run is starting to heat up. Water temps have finally risen into the 60's. The striped bass are starting to show up in their normal spots closer to home allowing for more time fishing. In this video you will see how I use simrads sidescan to find and target the fish. I tried getting them first of the fly rod but they were not actively feeding in the first spot despite marking them well. moved over to deeper water and found more active fish snap jigging LOON-A-SEA LURES bucktails. Pay attention to how to properly work the rod tip to get the correct action for snap jigging. This video gives a good visual of how to properly use this technique. Future videos will be accompanied by verbal instructions. On this trip I wasn't feeling good so I fished solo rather than taking out clients and risk getting them sick. It's a long season and there is plenty of time to put them on the fish of a lifetime. This trip it was nice to catch some schoolie size striped bass. Caught a few fish that were probably in the 2year class size. This gives some hope to the future of the striped bass population.
