EARLY SEASON STRIPED BASS SCOUTING

Описание: Welcome everyone. This video shows in-depth how I conduct early season scouting for striped bass. I go over how to use your electronics to find productive fishing areas, use of trolling motor with a power-pole shallow water anchor to dissect an area, and techniques for catching striped bass in the early spring. I explain why fish are in certain areas as far as water temperature and abundance of bait. When scouting for fish in general, it's important not to sit there and beat up on the fish. Your goal should be finding where they are, what they are eating, and what techniques are they hitting on. Once I catch a fish in a particular area, I take note of all the information I was looking for and move onto the next spot. Also noting where you don't see signs of life is important information for your next trip. In this video I also unveil the newest addition to the fleet.
