Sick of feeling like a rushing robot everyday? Give yourself permission to slow down and practice mindful transitions throughout your day with brief arriving practices. Shifting from at-home mode to at-work mode? Simply take a few breaths at your desk. Or when you come home from work at the end of the day (or leave your home office if you work remote, you get the idea 😊). #emotionalintelligence #mindfulmoments #selfgrowth

✨If you've got multiple things going on - shifting from student mode, to caregiver mode, to parent mode, back to work mode - all these shifts are wonderful opportunities to take just a few moments to pause. Over the course of a few breaths you can allow your mind to settle and arrive in the present to shift more mindfully into the current requirements of that part of your day, letting the ones from the previous phase (or next one) fall away for the time being.
✨Do not underestimate what a difference these short pauses can make in giving you a greater sense of agency and less autopilot mindlessness throughout your day! All the messaging we live in these days to do do do and go go go is actually optional 🤯 but can be really challenging to unlearn 😑Little moments of pausing to be mindfully present is a great way to rewire our brains to go from doing mode to being mode 😊
