(7/20/24) Welcome to another Trip Report! Last Saturday, I rode Amtrak’s Wolverine train #350 from Chicago all the way to Pontiac, MI. The Wolverine is the most popular Amtrak route in Michigan and one of the longest in the Amtrak Midwest brand. The total trip lasted around 6 1/2 hours, departing Chicago at 6:45am and arriving Pontiac just after 2:15pm.
Going to Pontiac on the Wolverine is something I’ve wanted to do for a while; I’ve taken it numerous times before, but not east of Ann Arbor.
