The Amtrak Michigan Line is primarily a passenger railroad corridor that runs from Porter, Indiana, to Detroit, Michigan. It carries both Amtrak's Blue Water and Wolverine services, as well as local or unit freight trains operated by Norfolk Southern Railway. It is one of the oldest lines in the State of Michigan with its origins beginning in the late 1830s.
