VELLA UPPERI (UPPUPPERI
INGREDIENTS
1. Raw banana 1 kg

.2 Salt 1 ½ -2 tsp-to taste
3. Pure coconut oil 1 kg
PREPARATION
1. Wash ,skin the banana ,keep immersed in water for 4-5mnts, cut into 4 cubes
or half moon shapes, about 1-2 mm thickness.
2. Deep fry in hot oil in a thick bottomed wide mouthed kadai
.
3. Fry quickly till crisp.
4. Remove ,after draining excess oil. Sprinkle the salt and toss well.
After cooking store airtight .
