Описание: This is a delicious cabbage curry recipe made in Bengali style. Also called Badhakopir Ghonto or tarkari. It is a niramish recipe meaning, its made without any onion and garlic. It tastes best with khichuri or luchi.

Ingredients
Yield: 10 Servings

900g cabbage (cut in long thin shreds)
5 tbsp. oil
1 bay leaf 
2 medium sized potatoes (cut in quarters)
1/2 cup peas (frozen or fresh)
2 inch ginger (paste)
2 dried red chillies
1/2 tsp. cumin seeds
1/2 tsp. Turmeric powder
1 tsp. cumin powder
1 tsp. Kashmiri red chilli powder or normal red chilli powder
1.5 tsp. sugar
Garam masala powder (6 green cardamoms, 4-5 cloves, 2 inch cinnamon sticks)
1.5 tbsp. ghee
Salt (to taste)
