When I arrived at Welney Wetland Centre on the first day of Autumn last week, it was drizzly and grey. There were plenty of bird species about, but I thought I wouldn't be able to capture or record anything due to the poor weather conditions.
But after patiently waiting a few more hours, the sun came through and I came away with more pictures than I have in recent weeks!
