This Song is an alternative Version to another Cristero Song "La Virgen María es nuestra protectora", also both Songs have the same melody as the Spanish national anthem "Marcha Real".
Context:
The Cristero War (1926–1929) was a conflict in Mexico between the anti-clerical masonic government and Catholic rebels, the Cristeros, who opposed the anti-catholic purges ordered by the government. The government, led by the cretain President Plutarco Elías Calles, enforced strict laws limiting church influence, sparking armed resistance, particularly in rural areas. After years of violent clashes and thousands of deaths, a "peace agreement" was brokered by the U.S. and the Catholic Church under Pope Pius XI, leading to the abandonment of the cristeros by the Catholic Church and the appeasement to the atheists, socialists, masons, the kkk.... basically all the enemies of the church. Though the war officially ended in 1929, resentment and sporadic violence persisted for years as the government took the opportunity and purges the catholic more silently.
Why did Pope Pius XI threw the Cristero under the bus remains a mistery? Well that my dear folks remains an unsolved question.
About the surviving Cristeros, well... they founded the synachist movement with little to no success. Their movement is best described as Pan-Hispanic, revanchistic towards the U.S. for the loss of the Mexican-American war of 1848, National-Catholic, a mix of francoism and falangism, corporatistic and the they don't really care for being Pro-Republic or Pro-Empire.
Anyway, that's enough to say about the Cristeros enjoy the Song 😎🍸
Christ the King, Our Lady of Guadalupe, St. José Sánchez del Río, bl. Miguel Pro and all the rest of the fallen martyrs, ora pro nobis! 🙏✝️📿
