In this week’s Episode, Madi spent the day in Miami with her brother, sister, and mom while waiting for her flight home from visiting family. While they had big plans to explore as much as possible for the day, they ended up spending most of it inside, dodging the crappy weather. However, it turned out to be a perfect and relaxing travel day spent in Miami.
We ate/drank at:
Talkin Tacos (the yummiest vegan and normal taco options)
CRAFT (great drinks)
Four Seasons Miami Poolside Bar (great cocktails and warm n/a drinks)
Brightline Station (delicious cacio e pepe)
Public Transportation we used:
Metromover - FREE monorail-type train around the Brickell area
Metrorail - CHEAP monorail-type train around Miami
Uber - the easiest way to get to and from the airport with luggage
Places that we had planned to go to if the weather would have been nicer:
Key Biscayne (to go to Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park to walk on the beach and see the lighthouse)
Miami Beach Botanical Gardens
Little Havana (to walk around the area)
