This video was recorded from a Clinical Translational Workshop (CTW), or half-day immersion experience in bioinformatics for the Cancer Research Experience for Undergraduates (CREU) 2022 summer research fellowship. The CREU program is funded by a NIH R25 Education grant led by Drs. Mary Reyland and John Tentler at the University of Colorado Denver. The bioinformatics portion of the CREU program was led by Dr. Michael Edwards, CEO of Bioinfo Solutions LLC.
This section of the workshop was a hands-on tutorial using The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) to identify and explore potential oncogenes and tumor suppressors in triple negative breast cancer.
