Fantasie Improptu by Chopin Lola was born in Gouda in 2004, she started playing cello at the age of 7. In 2017 she won the second prize at the Benjamin Britten Cello Competition and in 2018 she won the Prinses Christina Competition Regio West 1. Shortly after her performance at TEDxGouda she played with members of the Rotterdam Phiharmonic Orchestra.
Her dream is to perform the first and second Cello Concertos by Shostakovich.
Jure was born in 2006 in Gouda, in a musical family. He started playing the piano at the age of 7. In 2018 he won the second prize and the audience award at the Steinway Piano Competition.
He loves to play in various chamber orchestras and ensembles and his dream is to become a concert pianist. His favourite composers are Beethoven, Rachmaninov, and Chopin.
