The no line original Klusons would have had the extremely brittle tuner buttons. Most, like with this guitar, broke off. The previous owner had these really cool custom WOOD Tuner buttons made and installed. They are very creative, high quality work, and I just couldn't bring myself to change them. They work perfectly and look really cool. I'll let the new owner decide to change them or not. I like em!!

The P90 in this guitar sounds fantastic. Very very strong. The 1960′s Juniors had a much more sharp or treble edge to them. I had never played a 1950′s before this one and was pleasantly surprised at the difference in sound of this pickup.

You can roll back the tone and play great strong jazz or rhythm parts and hit the full on and have this guitar bark leads like the best Gibson I have heard. WOW is all I can say about this pickup.

The guitar is in amazing shape for its age. This is only the second year of these guitars and besides dings and some scratches, its in great shape.

The frets are still great, and the neck angle is fantastic. I just had it setup with new 11 gauge strings with a wound G string. They probably had 12′s on it back in the day.

What a player. Excellent low action and the bridge intonation is just right!

This cool Gibson was owned by a Pro Player here in Des Moines and well kept. It has small dings and scratches to be expected in a 1955 guitar but no unusual dings. Only superficial cosmetic things.

It has finish crazing which every vintage guitar collector looks for. Indicates the original nitrocellulose finish.

The headstock serial number lists it as a 1955. I opened up the back plate and checked out the pots. No funny business in there. Looks like original soldier joints to me.

A great guitar that will not fall in value. I don't have the original case so it will ship in the shown Great fitting older Les Paul Jr softshell case with red plush interior. It will do until you find an original case for it.
