Sue Randall's last appearance on screen (except for a failed 1967 summer comedy pilot) came in her sixth and final guest starring role on the long-running Western anthology series Death Valley Days, this one hosted by Ronald Reagan before he became Governor of California and later President of the United States.
The Courtship of Carrie Huntington, about a real-life pioneer woman who accidentally married a stranger but fell in love with him during a trial week and remained married their entire lives, premiered on March 17, 1966 as the 18th episode of the 14th season of Death Valley Days.
It featured Randall in one of her most extensive (about 14-minutes on-screen time) and most varied in terms of ranging from a giddy and excite-able spoiled young lady to being mature and maternal while continuing to be strong and independent over the course of the week that passed in the episode.
