Exuma Boat Life | Freezer Trouble, Lazy River & Stocking Island Beaches on a Nordhavn

Описание: In this episode, we’re wrapping up our time in George Town Exuma with some very real Bahamas boat life, including a Sub-Zero fridge and freezer repair at anchor, a long-overdue sunny day exploring the Lazy River in Moriah Harbour Cay National Park, a hike on Stocking Island, and our departure from Georgetown with dolphins off the bow and a little fishing underway. If you love Exuma cruising, Nordhavn 55 life, liveaboard boat life, and the mix of paradise and problems that comes with cruising the Bahamas, this one should feel pretty familiar.

From island-time repairs, cruising frustrations, beautiful water, and one of our favorite days in the Exumas. We float through the Lazy River’s crystal-clear tidal channel, wander over to the Atlantic side of Stocking Island, Jenn makes homemade bread and we get reminded why this area is so popular, even if we still tend to prefer the quieter corners of the Bahamas.
Then it’s time to leave George Town behind. We talk about what we liked, what made life easier there, and why we were ready to move on. Once underway, we get a visit from dolphins off the bow, put a line in the water hoping for mahi, and, because boat life enjoys a cheap laugh, end up with a barracuda instead. We wrap things up with fresh homemade bread and one more look at this weird, messy, beautiful life aboard Explorado.
