A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck near Bandar Abbas in southern Iran, days after another 4.3 tremor hit nearby Gerash, raising questions amid escalating regional tensions. Both quakes occurred at shallow depths of around 10 kilometers, according to the United States Geological Survey. The tremors come shortly after major U.S.–Israeli strikes on Iran triggered retaliatory attacks across the Middle East. Several Gulf nations, including the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar, remain on high alert as missile fears grow.
