Hi guys welcome to aclaireytale!!!

In this vlog, we hike up the highest mountain in England!! We conquer Scafell Pike in the Lake District. This is in western Lake District and we go up via Wasdale Head and Wast Water. I start off with some facts about Scafell Pike, how high it is. I show you some old photos of my parents doing the same hikes! I was definitely inspired by my parents to do this peak. We climb up Scafell Pike and I bring you along! I show you the terrain and how long it takes to go up and down scafell pike. I film the peak of the mountain, the highest point in England! We climb back down again and I have a hiking boots disaster! Scafell Pike well and truly did them in!! I give a summary of the hike.
We then head over to the Wasdale Inn for a well deserved drink and food! You can see Great Gable, Lingmell and Yewbarrow all around us and camping grounds, tents etc.
We then drive to the Bridge Inn B&B where we are staying the night! It's really cute and perfect for the night to do Scafell Pike. I definitely recommend it for a place to stay near scafell pike. We shower and clean ourselves up and spend the night in the pub playing cards. The next morning we have an amazing made to order breakfast! We check out of the hotel and drive home via Hawkshead! We have a lovely few hours looking around Hawkshead. It's a tiny town but is so cute. We go to the little ice cream shop, Sarah Nelson's Grasmere gingerbread (aka best gingerbread in the world), shops and art shops and then it's time to leave! I pick up a Scafell Pike pin on the way home to commemorate our climb!
