In this session, attendees learn how the CSDE secures data directly from test vendors and institutions of higher education to create the Postsecondary Readiness Report, which is Indicator 6 of the Next Generation Accountability System. The discussion includes steps districts can take to ensure that the data CSDE receives accurately reflects the percentage of students in grades 11 and 12 achieving college and career readiness benchmark scores on at least one of the following: SAT, ACT, AP, or IB; or earning three or more college credits cumulatively during their high school career through dual credit coursework. The presentation includes a review of Postsecondary Readiness public reporting.
