This session includes a review of two different types of reports — Find Contacts and Indicator 4 of the accountability system (i.e., chronic absenteeism). The session begins with a review of the data collected through Contacts Manager, the Educator Data System (EDS), and Directory Manager (DM) and shows how the data are publicly available on EdSight through the Find Contacts Report. The second half of the session focuses on the relationship of the June PSIS submission to chronic absenteeism calculations, including the safeguards built into Indicator 4 Next Generation Accountability calculations. The presentation includes a review of the various reports available within PSIS so that districts can review their PSIS submissions for accuracy before public reporting.
