Описание: The library collection of Amouage is rarely talked about, but is ever present within the Amouage brand. Today, I talk about Opus I and II from the library collection and give some of my thoughts on them.

Opus I is quite floral and the ylang-ylang is very prominent until deep in the dry down. This is supported by white florals. To me, this is the heart of the composition and most of what this fragrance portrays. Because of the ylang-ylang and the white florals, it's quite feminine to me. It's a classy, more refined smell, suitable for a more mature woman. Something easy to wear in the day, or maybe to the office.

Opus II is a little more unisex and has a unique composition because of the wormwood. This does give a bit off a bit of a boozy vibe in the opening, shrouded in lavender and incense. I don't get too much spice, but there is some in the mid of this one.

Overall, both of these are a bit underwhelming for me personally. They aren't unpleasant, but I wouldn't pick up a bottle personally! But this is all subjective, check out the library collection and maybe there is something you love there too.
