Описание: Written January 15th, 2026. I seem to do some of my most productive thinking late at night, cozy under the covers, when everything is quiet, and my thoughts can just flow. That’s when I wrote the lyrics to Unbroken.

Being in the business of human emotions, I’m always thinking about the different ways life challenges us, the highs and lows that shape who we are. Lately, with everything going on in the world, I wanted to put together a song that really speaks to resilience. If you read the lyrics on their own, they’re intense, serious, a little heavy — and that’s exactly the point.

Typically, these words might lean toward epic, cinematic music, something grand and sweeping. But for this song, I chose a different path. The lyrics are serious, but the music is lighter, upbeat, and even a little bouncy. I like doing this sometimes — letting the music contrast the weight of the words — because when lyrics dig deep into the soul, a lighter musical backdrop can make the message easier to absorb.

The story behind Unbroken is simple: no matter what the world throws at you, here we are. We get up every day, we keep going, we face problems, and we find a way forward. Some things are completely unfair, and some challenges feel insurmountable. But this song is a reminder that you can rise, you can stand, you can keep walking on.

I truly believe that those who suffer the most teach us the most. Our greatest teachers often come in the form of hardship. That’s why I write about these emotions, why I explore the human experience through music, and why I hope these lyrics speak to you.
