NUS EMAI | Welcoming the Inaugural Executive Leaders in AI & Digital Transformation

On 10 January 2026, the inaugural cohort of the Executive Master in AI and Digital Transformation (EMAI) under NUS Computing, Asian Institute of Digital Finance was officially welcomed on campus at the National University of Singapore.

The cohort was welcomed by Professor Tulika Mitra, Dean of the NUS School of Computing, who anchored EMAI’s purpose, intent, and leadership ethos. This was followed by Associate Professor Huang Ke-Wei, Executive Director of NUS AIDF, who set the academic tone, rigor, and expectations for the executive learning journey ahead.

Housed within the NUS School of Computing, ranked number one in Asia, EMAI is designed for senior leaders who are shaping AI-driven transformation across industries and regions.

The orientation concluded with a powerful workshop by Simone Heng, award-winning author and human connection specialist, who reminded the cohort that in the age of AI, leadership remains deeply human. Her session focused on trust, presence, and team camaraderie, reinforcing the importance of human-centred leadership in technology-driven change.

Hosted by Diana David, Programme Lead for EMAI, the orientation marked the beginning of a transformational learning journey rooted in academic excellence, leadership responsibility, and real-world impact.
