hey family!
whew - I've been out here hustling, meeting with a few clients to dip my toes into freelancing, but let me tell you—it just wasn’t a fit. I kept asking God for guidance on what to do with my business, even when it felt like he wasn’t listening. I was trying everything to fill that void—different forms of content creation, doing UGC—anything to keep my mind busy and not think about the uncertainty of it all.
but deep down, I knew I couldn’t ignore the pull towards my candle business. It’s scary as hell to decide to take this on full time, but I’m starting to realize that maybe he’s been guiding me all along, giving me the gift of pursuing this passion. even though it feels overwhelming, I’m leaning into this journey with faith that it’s exactly where I’m supposed to be.
join me as I take on this adventure from being laid off to full time entrepreneur. embracing the highs, the lows, and the lessons that come with building and scaling my business to $100k by December 31st 2024. we’re gonna make it—one step, one candle, one prayer at a time lol.
