I Just Did 7 Videos in 7 Days (Here's What I Learned)

And honestly? I procrastinated most of it.

But I finished. And that's what matters.

This is day 7 of my 90-day challenge to build Client Engine to $50K/month. I decided to layer a 7-day video challenge on top of it because I needed to figure out if YouTube was going to be part of my strategy.

Spoiler: It is.

WHAT I LEARNED IN 7 DAYS:

→ Speaking to camera without a script is harder than I thought (I bit my tongue on day 3, still dealing with it)
→ Better resources would've helped (editors, animations, polish) but working with constraints forced creativity
→ Procrastination happens even when you're "burning boats"
→ The most fun I had: shipping the ChatGPT ads video and teaching lead magnet creation
→ Thumbnails still feel weird to me (too AI-driven? too polished? still figuring it out)
→ YouTube might not just be a lead gen channel—it might be THE channel

WHAT'S NEXT:

I'm deciding whether to keep this test channel or move everything to my main authority channel.

Either way, I'm continuing. Just with more focus.

The next videos will be:
More tactical (funnels for different business types, ad strategies, script writing)
Less test-y (no more "trying everything to see what sticks")
More strategic (building authority, not just documenting chaos)

But I might also do some soul-searching about whether "ads and funnels" is even the right positioning for me. Because what I've really enjoyed these past 7 days is writing—ad copy, YouTube scripts, strategic messaging.

So maybe there's a hybrid model. Maybe there's a three-pronged approach: organic (SEO + social content), paid (ads), and strategy (the writing/positioning layer).

I don't know yet. Still figuring it out.
