This video is originally from Periscope Film but was accessed using Getty Images. It was filmed on February 19th, 1930.
The video shows the Coolidges asking Jack L. Warner (one of the Warner Bros. founders) questions about the making of the film "The Florodora Girl," after witnessing the filming of one scene from it. The movie was still titled "The Gay Nineties" at this point. Calvin Coolidge goes on to comment on the filming of movies in general.
A clip of the Coolidges greeting Marion Davies (the star of "The Florodora Girl") right after watching her perform can be seen in the following link at 0:47. Keep in mind that between seconds 19 and 46, the video shows the Coolidges watching the filming of a different movie, one I wasn't able to identify: • MARION DAVIES & WILLIAM RANDOLPH HEARST ON...
The particular scene that the Coolidges had just watched being filmed for "The Florodora Girl" was this one: • Tell Me Pretty Maiden (1930)
