Christian faithful in Uganda and the world over have begun lent season , marked the celebration of ash Wednesday , the season marks the beginning of a 40 day fasting period, a moment marked with prayer , acts of charity , and giving up certain comforts as a form of spiritual discipline.
At Christ the king the main celebrant called on Christians to observe the season as a time of self-reflection, repentance and conscious listening.
