In today's crochet tutorial I will show you how to crochet this beautiful Chunky Marshmallow baby cardigan sweater, matinee coat or jacket for baby boys and girls between 3-6 months using the a simple double crochet stitch pattern for the yoke and the marshmallow stitch for the body. You can also make this crochet jacket or sweater cardigan smaller or bigger by simply changing your hook size and making it exactly like this tutorial with same number of rows and number of stitches. Just remember that these sizes are based on standard sizes and not all babies/children are the same size. SIZES:
NB use 4.5mm hook with #4, Aran or 10 ply yarn
0-3M use 5mm hook with #5, chunky or 12 ply yarn
3-6M use 5.5mm hook with #5, chunky or 12 ply yarn
6-12M use 6mm hook with #5, chunky or 12 ply yarn

MATERIALS:
YARN: For 3-6M size, 149 grams (310 yd) of Big Twist Classic #5 yarn
HOOK SIZE: 5.5mm
BUTTON SIZE: 20mm (4)
APPROX. GAUSE: 2in = 3.5 rows/ 2.5 sts w/ #5 yarn, 5.5mm hook in marshmallow stitch
