In today's crochet tutorial I will show you how to crochet this beautiful Marshmallow baby cardigan sweater, matinee coat or jacket for boys and girls between 0-3 months using the herringbone stitch for the yoke and marshmallow stitch for the body. You can also make this crochet jacket or sweater cardigan smaller or bigger by simply changing your hook size and making it exactly like this tutorial with same number of rows and number of stitches. Just remember that these sizes are based on standard sizes and not all babies/children are the same size. SIZES:
NB use 3mm hook with #3, DK or 8 ply yarn
0-3M use 3.5mm hook with #3, DK or 8 ply yarn
3-6M use 4mm hook with #3, DK or 8 ply yarn
6-12M use 4.5mm hook with #3, DK or 8 ply yarn
12-24M use 5mm hook with #4, Aran or 10 ply yarn
2-3 yrs use 5.5mm hook with #4, Aran or 10 ply yarn

MATERIALS:
YARN: For 0-3M size, 100 grams (317yd) of James C Brett Super Soft Baby DK
HOOK SIZE: 3.5mm crochet hook
BUTTONS: Five 11 or 12mm size buttons
APPROX. GAUSE: 2in = 4.25 rows/ 3 sts with DK yarn, 3.5mm hook in marshmallow stitch
