The Ampeg GU12 is a 1x12 combo with tremolo and spring reverb that was made between 1970 and 1972 during a transitional period between the earlier "blue check" and the later "v-series" Ampegs. Its design is quite similar to the earlier Gemini model but the GU12 has only one channel. They typically came with Jensen C12Rs but I have a Celestion Vintage 30 in this one.
The amp is solid state rectified and is powered by a pair of 7591s.
I'm sending the output through a separate wet-rig which is producing a wee bit of delay that you can hear on the right side of the stereo.
This 1968 Gibson Les Paul Custom was refinished by a previous owner; they were all originally black. I have it loaded with a pair of Brandonwound '59 PAF clones with A2 magnets.
