𝐀 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲 was sent to all agents by Cigna and what they are seeing as the differences between Plan G and Plan N.

As I predicted in 2015 and showed in 2018, the trend is definitely showing a major benefit to being on Plan N in the future.

1) Plan G is now absorbing the "Guarantee Issue" folks that they cannot reject, based on the new MACRA law that started 01/01/2020.
2) At Open Enrollment (turning 65), healthy people are seeing the value of Plan N and signing up for that plan.
Meanwhile, the less-than-healthy folks that visit the doctor far more often are signing up for Plan G.

This is causing a healthier population, backed up by claims data, on Plan N vs. Plan G being used by the folks that go to the providers far more often.

These two factors are predicted to get worse in the future.
