Turn Godot's built-in lighting system into a reusable Signed Distance Field (SDF) texture.

Learning new stuff is great! In this video, we learn about and visualize the SDF generated from LightOccluder2D polygons, build a small SDF explorer tool, and learn how to capture the distance field and normal vector data into a texture file you can save and reuse in other shaders.
By the end, you'll be able to inspect, debug, and export Godot's hidden SDF data for things like effects, collisions, or simulation worlds.
If there is enough interest, I might make another video where I focus on "Signed Distance Functions" and use the functions to generate "Signed Distance Fields" from many types of smooth shapes.
