DIY: 2023 Ford Maverick - Digital Temperature HVAC Climate Knob Swap

Описание: One of the many things Ford started cutting costs with is the climate display knob. The 2022 Ford Maverick has the temperature display and the 2023 and 2024 Mavericks do not. Fortunately it is super easy to swap the display knob over.

I initially planned on just getting the knob from a Ford Ecosport as they are significantly cheaper, however I came across this climate control panel on eBay from an XLT (orange trim) that had the digital temperature knob. The panel was a little scratched up and really dirty, also the orange accents don't match anything else I have. Fortunately it is easy to take it apart and just swap over the knobs.

My 2023 XL board sadly does not have the connectors and resistors attached, so if you have a 2023 or newer XL, you will need the entire board/controls and not just the digital knob. I checked if my 2023 XLT w/ luxury package has the connectors on the board and it also doesn't.

No changes in Forscan were necessary as it was from a Maverick with the same options and not a blank new one from a Ford dealer. If you do decide to order a new one from the dealer, you will need to upload your AsBuilt into it.

Now I can finally see the what the temperature is when I'm using Android Auto without having to adjust the temperature!
