In Sept 2019 the University of Auckland along with LEAP and Callaghan Innovation hosted a Hackathon focused on the emerging industrial applications for technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT) and Augmented Reality (AR).
Six multidisciplinary student teams were given the task of rapidly developing and presenting IoT and AR-based solutions to a series of real-world problems submitted by local NZ industry.
