On this episode I continue with the ongoing restoration of this 1979 Kenworth W900A truck to turn it into a tribute movie truck like the one used in the 1977 classic movie Smokey and the Bandit with Burt Reynolds, Jerry Reed and Jackie Gleason. If you haven’t seen it yet, there’s no excuse “How come we doing this? Well, they said it couldn’t be done…”

This time I tackle the interior removal from the coffin sleeper bunk and the cab. Found some mouse droppings, nests and other goodness behind the panels #gross. Through the process I took car e to remove the liners without damaging them in order to re-use on the final build. However, the interior panels will be replaced with new ones from the Day Cab Company out of Tennesee. They do outstanding work when it comes to new interiors and made the ones for my other project Truck, my 1979 Peterbilt 359. Lots of fun and lots of bleach … gotta take it all down to build it back up
