Under the old rules, these contacts on Hit 2 were either called correctly as Double Contacts or probably should have been called Double Contacts.
Under the amended rules of today, these contacts on Hit 2 are not Double Contacts because:
1. This contact is by One Singular Attempt by the player
2. The Ball Does Not Come To Rest
3. The Ball Is Not Caught Or Thrown
4. The next Contact following the “Double Contact” is Hit 3 by a Teammate of the offense.
