This conversation aims to inform clinicians and therapists about the differences and overlap of traditional talk therapies and spirituality. Through discussion with case examples, Mick describes the scope of practice of different therapeutic modalities and the possible intersection where some focused awareness and facilitation can have a powerful impact on healing or resolution to a problem or symptom.

In less than fifteen minutes, Mick describes the experience of counselling a soldier who would likely be diagnosed with PTSD. He reveals how a discussion with guided questioning around worldview altered and resolved this person's inner conflict and how they were able to move forward making different decisions that aligned with their beliefs and values.

This conversation with Mick is an introduction to topics which will be explored more deeply in upcoming vlogs.
