Delhi citizens were facing an unjust seizing and scrapping of old cars right from the streets by Delhi Transport Department, this action was later condemned by Delhi High Court and even Delhi government admitted that this was not sanctioned by them. To which, Delhi Transport Department has now made a decision that they would make a new legal policy for seizing and scrapping of old cars for environmental protection, on the basis of High Court’s orders. An aggrieved citizen comes forward to talk about the effects that the illegal drive had on citizens, he mentioned the issues that were being faced by citizens as they were emotionally attached to their hard-earned vehicle and the financial loss as well.
