Quince Townhomes: An Affordable & Sustainable Community in Redmond, Oregon by Bend-Redmond Habitat

Описание: Welcome to the Quince Townhomes! These are Bend-Redmond Habitat’s first townhome community in Redmond. This development includes 10 townhomes and 9 ADUs, all of which feature solar power and sustainable design.

In building energy efficient, affordable homes, Habitat is reducing the cost of living expenses, improving overall health, and ensuring families have every opportunity to thrive and grow. The 10 townhomes were purchased by qualified households who completed Habitat’s Homeownership Program, including volunteer “sweat equity,” monthly financial education, and homeownership preparedness classes. Eligible homeowners at this development earn between 40-80% of the Area Median Income.

The 9 ADUs are owned by Habitat and rented to AmeriCorps crew and volunteers, Habitat staff, and the general public. These homes are deed-restricted to be permanently affordable, establishing an enduring legacy of affordable rental and homeownership opportunities in Redmond for generations to come. The project was completed in 2022.
