Pelican encounters while birding Lake Victoria & Rufus River - New South Wales.

I have left my home state of South Australia for a quick trip over the border into New South Wales, visiting the Lake Victoria region in search of birdlife.
Previous trips to Lake Victoria have seen the Lake at capacity however this recent trip has seen the water level drop significantly to the point of only just making out the shrinking lake in the distance. However with human intervention the Frenchman's Creek continues to push water into the lake's weir creating an oasis for all types of aquatic bird species.
It's at this point where the Rufus River starts, along with my look into some of the beautiful and diverse birdlife of the area.

Australian Ringneck
Red-rumped Parrot
