Cry of Love Performs "Bad Thing" Live on The Blazy & Bob Show/KOME 1993 (Audio Only)

Описание: Cry of Love went all out in this live performance of "Bad Thing" at one of our final "Breakfast Club" shows. This one was from San Jose Live, downtown San Jose. By this time, we were recording the shows on DAT tape for playback the following week. This is from that master tape. Excellent quality, thanks to pro sound man Doug Caldwell. (This was recorded on Saturday, October 9, 1993.)

At the time, North Carolina's Cry of Love had already gotten to #1 on the U.S. Mainstream Rock charts with "Peace Pipe". This song made it to #2. They gave us their entire concert performance of the song, too. Another great example of a band making the best of it for the live crowd of our listeners that were there, and the KOME/Bay Area radio audience.

It was sad to find out in 2014 that lead singer Kelly Holland was already gone at 52. He was a strong singer with a natural style, much like Paul Rodgers of Bad Company. We were lucky to have the band on twice while they were high on the charts.
