In this video we demonstrate three multi-block structured meshing strategies for circular geometry. The first is a traditional H-grid resulting in high included angles in the four corners of the topology. The second approach utilizes a pole, or singularity, to create a high quality structured domain consisting of quadrilateral elements at the core of the topology with collapsed edges. The third, and preferred, approach is known as an O-H-grid consisting of five domains resulting in a high quality structured mesh once elliptic smoothing has been applied.
