This short yin practice hits all the right spots. Feeling low on energy but want to lift your vibe? This is the practice for you. Expect some heart opening and shoulder releasing poses
Grab a couple of big towels or a yoga bolster and at least one pillow for this practice.

Yin Yoga
Surrendering, Spacious. Passive.
In a Yin class, floor poses are held for 3-6 minutes, each targeting joint and ligament stress and enabling muscles to soften. In holding poses for longer periods of time, you are able to work into the connective tissue known as fascia therefore this style is great for rehabilitation and restoration.
Your Yin practice is the true meaning of ‘rest day’.
*With Yin yoga you need no prior knowledge to keep up, therefore great for any level practitioner. Props: In a Yin class it can be useful to have a few props to hand: Yoga blocks (2), Yoga Bolster, Yoga Strap, Blanket – If you don’t have these you can substitute for household items which could work. Like a beach or bath towel, thick books that are the same size, pillows.
