Jay Peak, VT - ◊ Green Beret to Upper/🟦 Lower Milk Run (12-23-24) [4K]

Green Beret is one of a handful of crazy steep ways down from the top of the Tram, though certainly not as difficult as the chutes directly under the Sky Haus. It seems like it's always extremely icy at the top, though the snow improved once the steep part was over. I included the rest of the run for content's sake but that was definitely the star of the show. I would only recommend Green Beret after recent snowfall, even if it's been open for a bit - you can always make a visual check of conditions from the Bonaventure lift if you're not sure!

Advice: Green Beret seems like it splits in two at the very top, but I'd recommend sticking to the left (wider) area even if conditions look pretty bad. It's not so bad after the first drop!

Jay Peak does not use a double diamond rating (in the big '24? really?), but Green Beret definitely feels like one compared to other Vermont resorts.
