Our family chose a life centered around simple living, homesteading, and intentional homemaking after stepping away from what many consider a “normal” modern lifestyle. In this video I’m sharing the real reason we made that change and how motherhood, health struggles, and faith reshaped the way we live.

For years I’ve shared the how behind our life — how I cook from scratch, grow a garden, care for our home, and raise our family with intention. But today I wanted to sit down and share the story behind the why.

Motherhood changed the way I looked at everything. After facing serious health struggles and searching for answers, I began learning how to care for my body, my home, and my family in a different way. What started as a search for healing slowly grew into a life centered around from scratch cooking, gardening, traditional skills, and living more intentionally.

Over the years we’ve learned to cook nourishing meals from scratch, grow food in the garden, raise animals, and build a quieter life rooted in faith, family, and purpose. It hasn’t always been easy, but it has been deeply meaningful.
