In this screen cast we work on our first problem modeling a simple flash drum using CHEMCAD to separate a methanol/water mixture. We will perform a sensitivity study to look at the effect of the fraction vaporized (V/F).
Following this screen cast, we will look at the same system using continuous column distillation (modeled using a rigorous SCDS column, and using shortcut distillation). A copy of the problem statements are below.
