A joint operation involving District Reserve Group (DRG) personnel and ITBP forces led to an encounter with Naxalites in the border area of Narayanpur-Dantewada in Chhattisgarh. Seven Naxalites were killed in the exchange, while three DRG jawans sustained injuries and were airlifted for medical treatment. Narayanpur SP Prabhat Kumar provided details of the operation, highlighting the coordination between districts and the successful recovery of Naxalite bodies after a day-long encounter.
