Can God Forgive Me For Repeated Sins

Can God forgive me for repeated sins? The Bible tells us that your sins are not remembered by God, that they are covered by Jesus blood. But will God forgive me if I keep repeating the same sins. The Bible tells us that God does not remember our sins. So why do we fall for the lie that the enemy loves to tell us when we're feeling guilty, that God doesn't love us and our sins are not forgivable.

Many non Christians believe that, and even sadly, many Christians believe that the verse that I'm going to show you today is in Hebrews 8:12 for I will be merciful to their unrighteousness and their sins and their lawless deeds, I will remember no more.

What do you think no more means today, because of the cross, because of Christ's shed blood on the cross, because he died for our sins, we are now under the new covenant of grace. So the new covenant that God has made is not dependent on anything that you do. So when people tell you that if there's sin in your life, or if you haven't done this, or you haven't gone to church enough, or you didn't read your Bible that day, or you didn't pray enough, that you will come under God's judgment. That is not what the Bible says. It is not based on what you do or do not do.

The New Covenant works because of one thing, and it is the last clause in the new covenant which says, For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness and their sins and their lawless deeds. I will remember no more. So what does the word mean- No more?

No more means that there was a time that God remembered our sins. This is before Christ and He punished them to the third and fourth generations. That's in Exodus 25 but that is no more because of what Christ did on the cross when He shed His blood for our sins that was in the Old Testament today that God says emphatically, no more.

Because of Christ, I will remember your sins. No more. Now this is a double negative that is sometimes used in the Greek, no more means that God will never again remember our sins against us because he remembered to punish all of our sins on his Son on The Cross. Think about that. Let that sink in.
