15. ORORUKAAL EMPERUMAAN.....

"Sometimes, she goes on singing the praises of Siva as her Lord and her eyes tear up with overwhelming devotion. Sometimes, she prostrates repeatedly thinking of her Lord and never lets her mind wander to other gods. Oh my dear full-bosomed friends, let us take a dip in this beautiful pond and hail the glory of the Master who has enwrapped our friend in intense, pure love for Him

Summary:

This Pasuram is set in the form of a dialogue between the maiden inside the house and the ones waiting outside.

Translation:

Maidens ( outside): Hey! Young lady! Are you still asleep?

Maiden ( inside): Don't yell at me, Oh friends, I'm coming.

Maidens ( outside): We know that you are smart in deeds and an expert with words.

Maiden ( inside): You or I maybe tactful and smart.

Maidens ( outside): Wake up quickly. What other important work do you have?

Maiden ( inside): Have everyone come?

Maidens ( outside): They all have come. Come out and count for yourself! Sing the glory of the valorous Lord who destroyed the strong elephant and enemies.
